Visual Language: breaking the understanding barrier

Visual Language has been around for a long, long time. We encounter it in stone age murals, at the store in advertising, in our books, magazines, in slide shows, documents, and newspapers. Visual Language combines the use of text, pictures and images, shapes and structures like graphs and charts to help us more completely understand the world around us.
