Shelter

This is the frontyard natural flowers bed.
When the Rock bed was constructed a large cave space was built under the garden with access through the rocks.
These little shelters give refuge to snakes and small animals traveling accross the open lawn.

Another cave was constructed under this rock bed outside the back fence next to the Natural Area.
You may not be able to see it but the snakes definitly make use of it through the summer.
